There goes the steam train...

I've been on 3 dates with a guy. He lives in town, works near me and is all round a lovely guy... but the excitement I had about the fact that a guy wanted to get to know me, hasn't gone off me after the first date etc etc has just gone.... there is something in my head that just switches off the good and decides it's going to focus on the negative instead - that or just gets bored :( When I'm with him it's fine, we just hang out and chill but it seems the instant I get home and sit down to chill out I just don't want to know and I don't know how to turn that off - Yesterday he texted me maybe once or twice in the evening and even that annoyed me because they just happened to coincide with my relaxing, watching Jurassic Park II (not even that good a film) and generally just cutting myself off from civilisation - then the texts coming in just seemed to aggravate me >:(

I need to break out of this love of solitude, it's not beneficial in the long run - I just don't know how :( I shall just have to start watching how I start thinking and actually want to do something sociable :O

Watch this space... there will be progress (I hope!)

Help

I know it's been a while since I last posted, but this is going to be more of an 'as and when' thing than an actual 'you could set your watch by it' blog.

Anyway, last night I noticed a 'Help' tweet from a good friend of mine - she's a very good writer and had entered the NaNoWriMo last November where entrants had to write a 50,000+ word novel. All the entrants won the chance to get the novel printed (I am so proud of her skills!). As English is not her native language she was asking for some assistance with the spelling and grammar before it was sent off - and I am so happy to say that I am able to help her out on that issue :D Any help any of my friends need to have something this cool happen to them will always be offered especially because it is so well deserved for her :D

So, I shall be happily busy reading with a red pen to hand during any free time that I have and, as I know I'm gonna start getting this site as read by the general internet public as possible, PLEASE check this gal out - I don't have anything other than her LJ journal site to publicise - here it is....

She's mainly a fanfic writer but gosh darn it, even if that's not normally your thing, she's good!!

P.S Once her novel is printed I shall post a blog telling you all the details so she can get as much publicity as possible!
